Wir, das Creative Team von Ken Oliver, wurden mit einer Challenge herausgefordert und ich möchte Euch heute meinen Beitrag zeigen. Unser Thema lautet Spring & Florals. Und nicht nur das, sondern es durften auch keine Karte, Tag, Journal sein... also, was nun? Passend zum Osterfest habe ich ein Osterei gemacht.

We, the creative team of Ken Oliver, were challenged this month and I want so show you today my take of our Creative Team Challenge. Our theme is Spring & Florals. The brief for this month was to create a project that was not a card, tag or journal. Tricky.... but, we all made it :) Suitable for Easter I made an Easter egg. Die Basis für das Ei ist eine Schablone von Dutch Doobadoo, die ich aus Kraftpapier ausgeschnitten habe. Das Aquarellpapier - 'Water Media Papers'  ist von Ken Oliver Crafts und extrem cool für die Color Burst Farben. Für den Hintergrund habe ich außerdem noch eine Schablone verwendet, um ein Wabenmuster zu erhalten. Welche Color Burst Farben ich verwendet habe, seht ihr am Ende des Postings in der Materialliste.
The basis of the egg is a template of Dutch Doobadoo that I cut out from Kraftpaper. The watercolor paper - 'Water Media Papers' is by Ken Oliver Crafts and extremely cool for Color Burst Colors. For the background I still used a stencil to obtain a honeycomb pattern. Which Color Burst Colors I've used you can see at the end of the post in the material list.
Die Hyazinthen gehören für mich im Frühling definitiv mit dazu und dazu habe ich eine Stanze von Noor! Design genommen und mehrfach aus Kraftpapier ausgestanzt. Für die Blüten habe ich wieder das Aquarellpapier von Ken Oliver verwendet und das Papier mit Color Burst Orchid und Color Burst Violet sowie Color Burst Liquid Metals Amethyst eingefärbt. Die Liquid Metals geben einen wunderschönen Glanz auf allen Projekten. Anschließend habe ich Stick It auf die Rückseite des Aquarellpapieres geklebt und die Hyazinthen nochmal ausgestanzt. Die 'Köpfe' habe ich dann ausgeschnitten, mit einem Embossingfolder Dots geprägt und anschließend die Haftfolie abgezogen und aufgeklebt. TIPP: Mit dem Stick It habt Ihr keine hässlichen Kleberflecken ;)
Hyacinths are one of my favorite spring flowers and for that I have used a die of Noor! made design and repeatedly cutted them from Kraftpaper. For the flowers I've used the watercolor paper by Ken Oliver and painted the paper with Color Burst Orchid and Color Burst Violet and Color Burst Liquid Metals Amethyst. The Liquid Metals give a beautiful shine on all projects. Then i put Stick It to the back of the watercolor paper and cut out the hyacinths. I cut out the 'heads', embossed them with an Embossingfolder dots and then peeled off and the adhesive film. TIPP: When you use Stick It you have do not have ugly glue dots ;)


Den Text 'Spring Flowers bring new Life' habe ich teilweise mit den Pegz clickable stamps und meinem Dymo Labeler gemacht. Dazu habe ich noch ein Stückchen des eingefärbten Water Medium Papers genommen.
